Frequently Asked Questions
How will you keep me updated while I’m away?
I'll keep you updated by texting every day, or as often as you would like, with a quick note and a photo of your pet so you can see how they are doing while you're away. I am also always available to answer questions or concerns while your pet is in my care.
How many visits per day do you provide when dog sitting?
I typically provide three visits per day for dog sitting, which helps ensure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. However, this can of course be adjusted depending on your dog’s needs!
Will you medicate my pets if needed during your visit?
Yes, I can administer medication. To ensure your pet's safety and comfort, I need detailed information including the dosage, administration times, and any special instructions or tips, such as how your pet typically reacts to the medication or how they prefer to receive it.
How does it work with keys?
You can give me a key during the consultation, leave one in a secure spot for me to pick up, or provide a door code, whatever works best and feels safest for you.
Do you have any breed restrictions?
No, I do not have any breed restrictions. While I can care for reactive animals, I do not care for animals that have been known to attack visitors in their home. I love all dogs and have cared for a wide variety of breeds.
